Oh so if I sign contract with 2D I should get a hardware subsidy on top ?

I don't think so. I was looking at the pay monthly bonus section on 2degrees, at least in Dunedin only certain retailers offer it and warehouse stationary is not one of them. Am hoping for a pre order deal either with 2degrees online store or DSE as they would get me additional bonus discount for signing onto a plan

Given it says you get a free sim with a $19 Prepaid bundle on it I would assume it is a prepaid deal, but would be good to clarify.

Sorry for the confusion I meant my reply to be in response to "Oh so if I sign contract with 2D I should get a hardware subsidy on top ? ". I believe that the warehouse stationary deal would be the out right buy price since it mentions free preypay sim. However if 2degrees (or other "pay monthly retailers") are offering the same deal then you could probably get an additional discount on top of this if you sign up to a fixed term contract

motorwayne: Go Warehouse Stationary...Good sized nungers putting the prices up earlier than the telco's. Ditto. It is weird that giant retailers like Noel or Harvey don't even have anything other than coming soon banner. Good on them, just went to local store and paid for mine :) The only feedback is the staff wasn't aware of it as the pre-order only starts tomorrow and communication only arrive later afternoon.

If you want to go on contract you can only on release date and yes you will receive subsidies according local store.
