sittingduckz:
motorwayne: So, seeing as I have the Polish ROM update installed, will I be able to stick the latest version overtop or do I need to re do ICS and then update again?

It's a full rom so it should be fine, I will trying tonight when I get home (downloaded last night but forgot to bring it to work with me) I wouldn't go back to ICS.

A swedish rom sounds a bit sexier than a polish rom IMO :-)

The polish ROM I have has battery issues as suggested was possible. So wondering if there is an update for that?

Hmm... thew DLIH firmware is carrier based, not the unbranded version like the Poland (*correction of Polish lol) one.

Base Firmware: I9300XXDLIH (4.1.1)
Region Europe
Country: Sweden
Carrier: Telenor
Build Date: 28 September 2012
Modem: XXDLIH
CSC: VDSDLI1
Change List: 256827

I wondering if it is Okay to go with this firmware. Anyone have a screenshot of the About section?

*Update*

* Same kernel build as DLIB.
* Different Modem <<---- Now that is what we should try and flash :D "( DLID modem )

I'd love to flash Swedish firmware on my Galaxy...

My baseband feels so dirty...

All this ROM talk...

Having a few issues with my phone lately.

Listening to music and it occassionaly skips. Also with my camera I have a black almost smudge in the picture, I thought it might be a scratch on the lense, but it definitely isn't that.

Any ideas?

You need to give us more info with your phone.

Firmware version, rooted or stock, custom kernel? Have you ever dropped or contact with water... Etc.

Can you post a photo taken with the phone so we can see what the black smudge looks like.

My N95 had a commar looking object in the photos it took once and they had to replace the camera to fix it could be something simular.

Have all your photos from the begining looked like this...check through all your gallery. If not then it looks like either your phone has been dropped or maybe even exposed to extreme heat (within a car) or moisture maybe? If the smudge starts after some time then try and think of anything happening around that time....if smudged from the start then take back to retailer
Also is this smudge noticable when composing the photo..if not then it is not a physical problem with lens etc.
Try take a photo of something with vertical and horizontal lines..eg a white painted block wall and see if these lines distort.
All this can help with possible answers

Take a few photo on white 4A paper and inspecting it carefully. Roll back to ICS original firmware then take the phone back to Retailer and send it for a repair work.

It could be that the sensor is damaged from factory but it is worth get it checked.

All the best buddy.
