Noel Leeming had the s2 for sale at $399 labour weekend. They ran out so ended up getting a galaxy note n7000 for not much more.

IntegerIsNumber: Okay here is a bug I found with I9300XXDLJ4 UK firmware where it used to work with Poland ROM.
My default keyboard will always roll back to Samsung one whether I changed it inside the Language and Input setting.
The only way to by pass this is to remove Samsung Keyboard from System/App.

My Swiftkey 3 can never survive the default keyboard as long Samsung one exist. Just a head up :)

Ahh that's new: Go Keyboard seems to work with this firmware.

I uninstalled Swiftkey and then re installled it from the market and it now remains the defualt. Try it.
I am on JB XXBLJ4 UK

Regards,
John.

Does anyone know if the normal Galaxy SIII supports DC-HSPA? or is that only the LTE version.

Your answer is waiting for you on WIKIPEDIA. Sometimes it is better if you just do a google search before asking.

He didn't bite your head off. He provided a concise answer that led you straight to a popular source, and re-stated something thats been said a million times in a million forums.

Without prejudice - looks like polite low-level sarcasm to me? Low post count, "But...", and "Sealed" were the indicators I used to reach that conclusion. :-)

Newbies with a STFW question will invariably find a geek with a terse+polite+informative reply with a dash of advice about searching :)

Thankfully GZ is a fairly safe place to be a little n00by. :)

To stay on topic, for no particular reason I went from the Poland-sourced (hat tip to person who didn't like 'Polish') JB to latest CM10 nightly last night. Seeing if I can live without Sammy camera.

Decided I don't need smart-stay or many other Touchwiz only features.

CM10 running like a dream at the moment. Soooo much smoother and more responsive than TW.

I'm still on a battery life crusade at the moment.

I WISH it were possible to schedule an Android phone to turn on from a power off state.

I had a GSM cellphone with this capability years ago. Scheduled on and off. Battery lasted about three or four weeks for my usage back then.

I do use tasker to turn features off at times I dont use them, but I'm at the point where 2.5% battery drain per hour is the best idle I can achieve on XT with cellular radio still turned on, and not much better with it off.

Thats an amazing price for a phone released in May this year - I thought I got a bargain when I got mine for $700!

Not sure how you got to the Warehouse if you were stationary though.. :D
