All good mate, I got there eventually, downloaded rom manager and re enabled it, seems to be pack. Can't send or receive pxts though? Which has been an issue for a while now. thought it might be because that app was missing.

Okay problem fixed with 4.1.2 Message app.
Clear Message Data (App manager) and Fixing permissions seems to solved the stuttering message app. :)
In case anyone else having this issue. This is the solution. Usig 4.1.1 SecMMS.apk won't work in 4.1.2

Update: after reboot it is back to laggy again lol

can any one suggest alternative to s memo which i find slow, frustrating to use especially that toolbar hovers the text!!!

i frequently take quick notes especially when on the phone so a simple app will do. i dont need any special features (cloud sync) etc.,

Thanks for the advise.

Install ROM manager and download CMW.

The only problem is it only support internal SD and FAT32 external.

Thanks, haven't done any flashing for awhile so lost touch.
I have installed Rom manager again and flashed the recovery from within the app.

I have a 32gb SD I guess ill have to check how its formatted.
I only image the phone so I can revert to how it was if i need to and dont backup the external SD, only write the backup file to there.

Also I bought this nice little bluetooth keyboard off Trademe but I also need a mouse now so I can free up the microusb port for charging instead of using my usb OTG and mouse.

Does the S3 support two separate bluetooth devices connecting at once? i.e a keyboard and also a mouse?

Can you actually connect a mouse to it, as there is no onscreen cursor?

How do you rate this keyboard to use?
There are bluetooth keyboards available with built in touch pads...anyone have aany experience of any? These would be ideal for email when travelling

Once connected you'll get mouse pointer/cursor.

Some of the I9300XXELK4 New Features:

Android 4.1.2 - JZO54K
Multi-View (Multi Windows Multitasking, same as in Note II)
Page Buddy
*** Notification Panel (Notification Panel can now be customized)***

Updated wanamlite to 4.1.2 (no wipe) and I cant seem to find a way to customize the notification panel I did flash the stock toggles and it is themed although I don't think that would make a difference.
Checked the settings page and the drop down status bar.

Cheers
