Chex: Some of the I9300XXELK4 New Features:

Android 4.1.2 - JZO54K
Multi-View (Multi Windows Multitasking, same as in Note II)
Page Buddy
*** Notification Panel (Notification Panel can now be customized)***

Updated wanamlite to 4.1.2 (no wipe) and I cant seem to find a way to customize the notification panel I did flash the stock toggles and it is themed although I don't think that would make a difference.
Checked the settings page and the drop down status bar.

Cheers

I thought Wanam wasnt releasing that until he got a stable base?

I've got the same version of wanam and its got wanams normal custom toggles so i think that's why it isn't working for me but I'm cool with it.

A few issues with the LK4 leak but good to have multiview but like others not sure how much I'll use it.
The video camera doesn't work also but never used it as yet likewise GPS seems to be an issue as well, all seems to be release related as I notice Omega users reporting similar issues.

Tried CM10 for the first time for about a week, but found battery drained very fast, camera was sub-par compared to samsung and couldn't save to ext. sd card, and no access to FM radio or TV out.

I'm on the Wanamlite ELK 4.1.2 build after seeing a few recommendations here and it is great, battery life, performance and with Nova Launcher + WidgetLocker Lockscreen its everything I need - just took videos using both forward and regular cameras and it works fine for me.

Haven't tested GPS yet..

I was probably a bit pointed so should change that to say not all having these issues but it seems to be a common theme. I tried video didn't work but there are fixes but it isn't an issue it is only a leak so can't expect to have plain sailing. The GPS works for me but it is said that for a lot it stops and starts but I don't use it much especially not for navigation.

Wanam is usually pretty good and whilst i like to try different Rom's I seem to gravitate back. I'm getting too used to Samsung so whilst I like CM/AOKP  I miss some of sammies little quirks besides the phone is samsung, I do remove a lot of the bloatware and use Nova apart from that I'm pretty standard

Yea I fully tested the 4.1.2 read the xda posts and so far only 2 bugs for me, minor ones, no notification toggle or I havnt found it yet.. and the multiview all app edit button, once you take an app out of the shortcut list and try to put it back it choooses a random app instead.

Rofl found the notification panel edit: Settings > Display > Notification Panel.

Guess I just got so used to seeing what I wanted to see in the settings totally skimmed over it like 50 times. So good news all round as I only have 1 bug now and not Samsung leak related but rather balagamers all app edit for 4.1.2. GPS, video, camera, wifi, 3G, messaging, calling, multi all working well.

yep it all works really well now

BT mouse arrived today so its like working on a PC

Now i no longer have the USB OTG (On the Go) adapter plugged into the S3's micro usb port so I can leave the charger plugged in and my S3 sits uo in front of me on a nice dock.

I've tested 3G broadband and GPS - both seem to be working fine for me on this build.

Gmail was crashing constantly last night with 'Gmail is not responding' so I installed Gmail 4.2-478 (with pinch-to-zoom and swipe delete) and it seems fine now. Uninstalled the old one using Titanium Backup in case anyone else wants to do this.

When I hook my SGS3 up to my PC some of the files dont appear on the S3's sd card. They are there on the phone just not showing in the folders on my PC. I think I can manually delete them off the SD card, using my phone? but now I cannot delete/add new files from my PC. Does anybody have a fix for this?

Unsure if anybody needs to know anymore information like build number or anything. Its unlocked, never been rooted/flashed and I have never used Samsung Kies (Dont actually know what it is, only heard bad things about it).

Thanks in advance :)

kiwitrc: @Finch are you looking at the internal or external SD?

Internal, the 16GB on the device.

Cant seem to write any files bigger than 50MB to my SD card but that is probably because it is old + slow, but thats another story and im not fussed.

@Monkey ok will give it a shot, thanks.
