If anyone is able to upload a ROM dump of the updated firmware, it would be much appreciated :)

Sweet, and SuperSU even managed to preserve root over the OTA process. kick ass.

Maybe an old gimmick but new to me....
when you do the tap repeatedly on settings>android version to bring up the JB animation thingy if you do an immediate palm swipe you get an extra animation

Jelly Bean initial impressions: very positive. S3 is much quicker to swipe between screens and start apps. Google Now seems good, too.

That is good news. This is my third android phone but the first one that I've rooted so I wondered about having to re-root it after the OTA update.

I'm not as switched on as most people on this thread when it comes to modding and if I'm honest, when I rooted my phone it was 30 seconds of sheer terror - I wasn't really looking forward to doing it again.

A heads up for anyone who experiences touchwiz crashing when trying to delete a home-screen..like I did ;)

Posted by spmwinkle: "Solution to this has been found, in developer settings you have to enable the animation scale. Even setting it to 0,5 speed is OK.

Technically it's not a solution since it will happen if animations are turned off, but it's an easy and good workaround."

Worked for me :D Hope there's an official fix or something...

Just be sure you're actually running SuperSU from Chainfire, not the older and simpler Superuser. (If you used CF-Root, then you will be).

Also ensure that Survival mode is enabled.

Once upgraded, you need to go into SuperSU's settings, and toggle the "Enabled" setting (from on to off and back to on), so that the su binary is correctly "re-installed" for apps to use.

My S3 is one of the ones that was putting a blue tinge on any photos taken while using the flash. I read somewhere that it was a hardware fault but looks like it's been fixed with the software update.

Might have found a JB glitch!

If you have the FM Radio running in the background and then tap the Google Search bar widget , the FM Radio cuts out for a nano second.
