I have just noticed I have screen burn! I didn't know this could effect the screen on s3. Anyone else had this happen?

Yeah, that would be MA2 (February), while Telecom have just, today, released MA1 (in February, but are calling it January).

I see the telecom 4.1.2 is now on SamFirmware, has anyone received an OTA update?.

OTA says cannot connect to server, try Kies.
Kies says update to latest version but when I click upgrade it says latest version installed.
I think latest version might be 2.5.2 but I cannot seem to download it. I cannot even browse to www.Samsung.com.
I will try again in the morning.

So just before, i was charging my phone and my foot got hooked around the cord and the phone slammed to the ground..smashing (or very majorly cracking) the phone screen..it's still useable, but the top half has cracks.

Anyone know if this is repairable?

You "can" do it yourself fairly cheaply. But it involves heating the glass to melt the glue that holds it to the rest of the display. Ive seen it go very wrong

Ah thanks. I was just reading up on this, and luckily i believe the digitizer isn't broken and its only the LCD.  Does anyone know how much it is at either the Samsung Repair Center or another repair center? I'll try go in to one today to get a quote and see if it's worth the hassle of waiting and doing it myself. (Considering i'd have to order the screen from Amazon/Ebay

Edit: Actually found one seller on TM for $45 (Compared to $30USD on Amazon, not incl shipping). Soon as i find out how much to have this properly done, ill probably buy this and go for it.

Is anyone using Instagram on their S3, I have been trying to use it for ages, but keeps force closing.

Nothing seems to fix it, have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, but still not working properly.

Anyone else having any problems?
