Chainfire is the man!

Indeed he is. Without him and Supercurio I suspect I'd be a lot less happy with Android in general.

Don't forget Samsung for not locking their bootloaders :)

Was watching the stuff over at XDA this morning...yay good news. I used to do a bit years ago (not Android, just PC, BBS, Windoz, linux) but haven't for ages and thinking of getting back into it.

I cruise a dozen Android blogs/forums every day and love the stuff.

Question: Which device should I use to start rooting/hacking? I'm thinking of using the S3 as a daily driver and then either using the One X as a learning bed, or selling that and getting a cheaper unit to muck around with.

Any thoughts, would like some pointers in the right direction if you're of the mind.

I think the question on everyone's lips is... How well does the Barometer perform?

As per usual, brilliant review. You're a master with words, I do not believe I have ever read an article that is so well balanced involving an apple/android comparison

Cheers and thanks for the quick reply.
Mother wants to sell hers to daughter in-law who is moving to Oz in August. Just needed the all clear.
