A few of you have been asking about our Samsung Galaxy S III pricing. We can’t confirm anything just yet but if you want to be first to hear about Samsung Galaxy S III updates, make sure you pre-register on link below. Stay tuned because our launch is going to be out of this world!

God I hate marketing people.

+1 to me. But I hope their launch price is really out of this world. The way JB saying it is like Vodafone :( did on their Facebook page. I really want to see what will be the pricing.

Marketing is a head-aching business to me.

Seriously. Why are they scared of revealing the details? If another provider decides to change their launch details after that so be it. But holding on to it until the launch day doesn't make much sense and then give this marketing crap. I hope John from Vodafone is seeing this.

He is technical, he probably hates them also.

I haven't been buying from any local stores for a long time. Last I remembered was the Nokia N95 and I paid premium for it too hahah. Anything after the N95 I stopped buying stuff from Vodafone because their mark-up price of 90% on top of parallel import.

But this time, I wanted to buy from local for once in a while. Because NZ is one of the first to get the S3.

But really sick with the secretive marketing politics.

A bit off topic here. You guys are the best people to talk to ever. I feel like I'm home. Lol. ^^

I just hope they're not building themselves up for another disappointment.

I think it was the iPhone 4 launch where they made an announcement about an upcoming announcement for new plans and pricing, and they hyped it all up only for their "new" plans to be ridiculously expensive. A disappointment to say the least.

I just had a phone call from JBHiFi. That they will be bringing in the 32GB model as well as the 16GB.
This is the code for the 32GB ^_^

code: 28381 - for 32GBSGS3
I'm thinking of dropping by the store and talk to the Hamilton branch for a deal. Hopefully Laughing
I already have my plan and I'm going to camping in it as long as I could lol.

I pay $40.86 for:

1000 pxt
2500 txt
60  mins
3078MB Data

This would cost me more than 80bucks a month if I was to choose a different plan. Loving my plan ;)

Even if he can see it, what do you expect him to do about it? He isn't in marketing.

I think people need some perspective, the prices are out, you can see within spitting distance what everyone will be doing it for, I suspect the only real surprises might come with contract prices with VF, and I believe it's likely they are going to do a launch event, though don't take that as gospel. Marketing does appeal to a lot of potential buyers, and we aren't the typical customer VF will be aiming for. It's only a week till release either way :)

ha ha so everyone including vodafone dealers and retailers have confirmed the pricing but vodafone still wants everyone to be the first to know. Classic. if anything it will be more around contract pricing which will be revealed in due course.

I see that Indie has an Omega ICS ROM up for the SG3 so think that we won't be waiting too long for a plethora of custom roms. Interesting he hasn't handled an S3 yet

corksta: I just hope they're not building themselves up for another disappointment. ....(edit)....

It's probably more a case of people building themselves-up for disappointment. You set your own expectations based on whatever hype you choose to follow.
