I'm really surprised with the full review by GSMArena. Just finished reading 12 pages of very detailed review that covered everything about S3. You guys should read this.

http://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9300_galaxy_s_iii-review-761.php

They rated it the smartphone to beat by other phone makers. Superb review and very balanced.

NZtechfreak:
EDIT: Oh, and yes, mine is S-Off too (I think all the Tech Blog ones are).

Yep, that's right, all our phones are early model dev phones

I'm also thinking about going the same way as Blair and flashing an EU RUU ROM, just to see how the battery life improves, so I can give it a final judgement.  My hindrances are similar to yours, with the battery life being the main one, camera sticking out being the second.

Are you going to keep your One-X Murray?  I think I'll be keeping mine, but selling my old Galaxy models

Oh well, only 1-2 more reviews to go, then onto the GS3 in less than 7 days with most of you guys :)

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

I'm already over the HOX design. It was nice at first, but now when I look at the S3 I like it instead. Could be retail therapy talking Laughing and the two screen scratches I have. Unibody outter shell has taken a few hits too.

Welcome aboard MotoWayne. :)
To me HOX design is nothing special and I hate sense UI with all my every beat of my heart. I have two phones right now and my HD7 is a piece of **** (sorry but it is true). I use my S2 every day and loving it. But time to move one to S3.

That was just a pre-review, my real review will be about 10 times as long as that!

Confirmed: the Samsung Galaxy S III is polycarbonate, not plastic

Here

And then some funny responses from some guys about the haters commenting on the S3 design being ugly.

Well polycarbonate IS a kinda of plastic :)

Good news though, can't complain at a more durable kind of plastic being used. Wish they'd used the matte treatment process HTC used with the One X, but I'm more about function than form anyway, so already made my peace with the S3 design.

Well I am sure in the coming weeks there will be replacement backs, so I will likely look into those if back feels gross.

The back feels fine, just not as grippy as a matte finish and fingerprint-prone (which has never bothered me that much when it's the back of the phone to be honest).

Guess the choice of case depends on whether you want it to last. HTC One X case chipping  HTC One X white staining

Guess we are never going to trending discussions nirvana now :)

Yick, blue jeans stain! I am just really struggling with size of both phones. I guess it's something you get used to, however I must say I consider the 4.3" screen a perfect device right now.

NZTF: you had the note and said it was one of the best devices ever, are you migrating to the GSIII, or just buying one for a play?

I think the blue staining is a total beat-up to be honest, you can just wipe the One X casing clean (many users have had staining in new jeans and all reports I have seen they have just cleaned it).
