NZtechfreak: Anyone else notice how this is the hottest thread in Geekzone right now, but isn't in the trending discussions area on the homepage? Got something to do with the Telecom Tech Blog One X promo you think? freitasm: Now, even hinting that this topic not being in the Hot List has anything to do with a sponsored blog that is running is really an insult. I made a clear point, always, of maintaining strict separation between commercial and editorial. I always had full disclosure. And seeing what you wrote just up there is just not right. Just a bit of launch banter enthausiasm .... No harm there....it's all the rest of us that have been stokin the fire. Speaking of S3 goodness...when is Jellybean due out? Motorwayne

on saturday I lost my samsung galaxy ace, spent all day looking for it, said to my wife that i needed a new phone, mentioned that the S3 was coming out end of the month, saw that it was over $1k at the time preorder, bought the wife a purple toaster she wanted and now I can have my phone, whats better, i got a hold of my brother who works retail, I can get the 16gb version for just under 800 bucks, so I am def. not complaining just have to wait until the 31st as my brother said that asses will be kicked if they are sold before then (they get them on the 29th)

No one wants underdogs to die. HTC got a quad core, Android 4 phone out early. It looks, runs and feels great. The HTC One X deserved blog posts, it's a fantastic phone. The SIII is also a fantastic phone from a much bigger phone manufacturer. The Galaxy SIII is also freaking incredible. On some levels it is a step up but also it's at a higher price. Don't worry about bias towards handsets. The carriers really don't care. HTC Sensation - on Telecom XT

well, also to be fair her birthday is june 2nd, and combined mothers day and bday was a ipad, so the $120+ purple toaster was a well place carrot dangle indeed, somehow I suspect shes getting a purple jug outta me too :(

back back to topic, I always wanted a S2, but I figured if i waited long enough there would be the next one coming out, my brother was saying I should go apple, but mehh... not too interested in them, the S3 is giving me serious wood

You guys make me love my wife so much! When I said a new phone was coming out, she just smiled and said, Ok, no worries. Also she has 5 pairs of shoes and 1 handbag :) Plus she gave me two awesome little kiddies, feel pretty fortunate all in all :-)
