Rudder: WHS assured me when I ordered that it would be waiting in store for me on the 31st so if it isn't I'm going to be hugely annoyed. On a side note the Snapper app from Google Play and use it on any NFC-capable Android. So for those who use snapper in Wellington and on 2 degrees this will be pretty sweet when you get your S3 (Be it on time or weeks late). Rudder, brace yourself to be disappointed mate. I bet they will call you this weekend or first thing Monday to inform you.

2 Degrees and VF may have ordered different colours or quantity of colours. They may have the blue ones at WHS.

Samsung simply dont have the stock. It will all be coming from the same place and if the suppliers don't have them, no-one will get them. It could just be a huge marketing build-up/wind-up, but sadly I don't think so.

So 2degrees Wellington told me just now - they'll have it in stock "by the end of the month". And in response to my question re whether I ought to place a pre-order the response was along the lines of if you want to, but it's not really necessary given expected stock levels. Promising, very promising!

At one point 4 of the trending threads this week were started by me :) Now it's only 2 :) I got 110 notifications from GZ about new messages posted to this thread :) Since Tuesday.

My email to WHS wasn't very successfully in finding out if they will indeed have stock of the Blue S3 when they are meant to. The head office emailed me "Good afternoon Stephanie, Thank you for your email regarding stock. If you have pre-ordered with the store you may wish to be in contact with them directly, as they will be able to assist further and provide more information on what there stock levels will be." This annoyed me for 2 reasons: 1) I'm a dude and my name isn't Stephanie 2) The store doesn't know I'm just going to pretend like when I arrive at the store on release day my nice Blue S3 will be waiting for me.

I just change my order to white. Apparently the blue batch got delayed due to battery cover colour had different blue shade from the phone and they recalled it.

I don't think a new thread is required, there is still going to be plenty of people here who get phones on release day, and the delivery day delays etc is a normal part of product anticipation, it will start to wane pretty quickly and get onto a technical theme pretty quickly. Multiple threads about the same device will just cause other issues.
