bignicko:  Does anyone know if it can be read in SDHC compatible readers such as built into laptops/netbooks, etc?

Yep, no problem at all.

It would be great, if tomorrow, anyone on this thread who hears about demo units that are viewable, to let everyone else here know. Just so we can get a look in to help those of us that need to see a colour choice.

Cheers motorwayne

Well given there are about 3 blue units in the entire country, I can't see demo of blue being an option. I called around about 10 stores 2-3 days ago looking for an out of the box unit and got the same result, which was, we aren't allowed to show them until release day, some people said they could lose their jobs for the breach. Mileage may vary obviously, but I wouldn't hold your breath. It's only a few more days till it's released :)

Hmmm, I'm thinking about switching mine for a white GS3, but with a blue back/cover.

Just not sure, hard to tell which looks best :(

I think it would look exceptionally strange with a white front and a blue rear!

Will you buy a blue rear cover afterwards? might be interesting to see that. I'll probably just get a case

My friend just told me it cost her $30 to swap her sim for a micro-sim fr her Iphone.
Is that correct?
I thought something like that would be free.
If it does cost i might just go 2degrees when i get the new phone.

I went in and signed up for 2degrees pay monthly $39 plan on the weekend to make sure I got bonus 1GB/month deal, and asked about using the free microSIM that comes with WHS pre-order. They told me I couldn't use that one as it already had a number allocated to it, but it was only $5 for them to supply a new microSIM and set it up with my number.

It may be different on prepay with 2degrees though. Hope this helps.

BTW, $39/month with no minimum term gives me 220 minutes every month, 2500texts, and a total of 1.15G of data a month once you include their current freebees (if you sign up before the end of the month). Not bad considering they don't tie you into any term contract. (Although I did sign for 12 months and got $75 store credit which I used to buy topups for my Wife's prepay).

Already have the rear blue flap cover on order, might just leave it, and see how it looks when it arrives.  If it's crap, I'll flick it on Trademe, and get the white flip case to match

If I decide to change my order, still tossing up between the two colours

Not yet, sorry, new born taking priority and then there is Ivan ( 22 month old son) who needed to go to creche...sheesh.

I might be a white SGS3 guy to by the time Thursday comes around, just to give me some diversion.

Just changed mine, if I don't like it I'll sell the wifes One-X, give her the white GS3, then use the money from the sale to buy a blue later on :)

If she agrees to that...
