I still can't believe how crap the Desire now feels after using the One X! Those comparing the iphone 4 to the One X are a bit weird.... It really is in a completely different class. Kinda like comparing your 3 year old 32" plasma to a new 50" LED. Yeah a 3yo Plasma would win all over an LED :P The contrast ratio of Plasmas is still amazing compared with LCD based tech, though I am looking forward to the new OLED displays!

Anyone seen 1.29 yet? 1.28 came out quick smart and from what I can see it is out in other parts of the world. motorwayne

Just a quick question about the One X. After the announcement of the SIII I have decided to get the One X. I signed up to the 2degrees "interest" page and have the code to get $100 off + $100 credit on the number I used to sign up (my fiancees) I am just wondering if the phone at 2degrees is the exact same model as the one that Telecom will be selling? I use XT solely because of the speed of their network in my location, so will probably use my One X on XT, but it seems like it would be a better deal to get it through 2degrees if they are the same model? Im probably going to chuck a nice clean Rom on it after I get it, so don't mind about crapware added by 2degrees etc Thanks!

I shipped my own in from the UK and run it on the XT network via Digital Island. Not sure what speeds are like on 2Deg, won't they be simiaalr to VF?

Hey there, I just saw there was some action on the 1.28 about 10 days ago so kept looking for it in the updates, then received a msg saying there was one available. You've probably already done this, but have you tried going to "settings/about/Software updates and hitting the "check now" button?" Cheers

My phone came out of Singapore The one upgrade I have received is 1.28 i that would be an ecumenical matter

Just keep getting told my phone is up to date. Guess Telecom have not approved either of the updates yet.

1.28 took an extra week or so to roll out to Asia, I assume the same thing is happening for 1.29 @dracula, you had to express your interest on 2degrees' site before sometime in April to get the $200 bonus Technology Journalist for Mobile Kiwi Twitter: @ArchSerpo
