otari: Yep looks like they found a white one to ship to me yesterday via Royal Mail. Can't wait! Motorwayne, your comments about the white version definitely stuck with me and convinced me to go that route!

Sweet, glad to be of service...will be interesting to see which arrives first, Fedex or Royal mail.  he race is on!

Hey where is the option for Royal Mail?? I didnt get it... Can you let me know if you get charged GST also? Was going to buy off the trademe dude, said he will get it for me Tuesday but might just get one from Clove.

The Royal Mail option is called "Airsure"

Tracking tells me it's left the UK but it won't be scanned again until it arrives in NZ, at which point it will be handled by either NZ post or Courier Post.

Will comment here re: GST when it arrives in NZ.

Clove has a pretty impressive price, about $960 if you are stung by GST when it gets here

Got in contact with Fair Buy and they're expecting a price of over $1200 when they get stock, hopefully next week

One X coming to 2degrees as well; seems as if the carriers are waiting for another to show their off-contract prices...

Will be interested to hear the thoughts of new owners here, since I won't get mine for a couple of weeks. Avidly watching the thread!

How close can you get. I stood there at the Allphones counter with a white One X in my hands. $AUD668 handset only price. It is truly a beautiful phone with a display that almost looks like it is painted on the glass. Lighter than I expected and only a centimeter longer than my DHD. GST paid, it would have been the same price landed as those from Clove. But in the end the most recent reports of some teething problems experienced by those who have their One Xs in Europe made .....me......hand.....it.....back.
I will wait for further reviews and maybe compare the NZ price before my next trip to Oz.

I've been following a whole bunch of threads on XDA and users seem to be 95% happy with theirs, I'd say go for it
