Well not heaps of issues but particularly with camera or video recording being in a low bit rate and jerky. I've seen videos samples that are good and bad but who knows what to believe there. And the internet browsing is pretty bad apparently

I hope they are wrong lol

Not sure about the alleged video issues, but going through the below thread there doesn't seem to be any major issues, the few that do have issues are mostly solved by using chrome

Looks like the camera only records at 23-27fps in 1080P mode.

But that should easily be fixed with a quick update by HTC.   Same with the internet browsing.  Shouldn't be that hard to get the browser fluid again

Still anxiously awaiting mine

The only real problem I see is the low bitrate when shooting video. And though disappointing, this will be solved with an update or custom camera, as has been done with many phones, including the SGS II. The optics in the One X are excellent, so I expect the video to be great when we get a higher bit rate.

Check out some excellent One X stills here:

I wouldn't use the stock browser anyway, so that's not an issue to me at all. Battery life seems fine on nearly all units, and will improve when they push the firmware update. Keep in mind the phone has only officially been on sale for a week! Mine is in Auckland, can't wait get receive it this week!

Yea other than that i havent seen any other issues.. The stills look great also, seen heaps of them around.

Its funny with the video because some of the samples are probably the best ive seen in a phone and some are just rubbish, almost like some people already have a updated version.

Yeah definitely agree with you there, they are as good, if not better than my Galaxy S 2 stills/videos.

But then in some reviews they look way worse.  Maybe it's the person reviewing, rather than the camera?

I know I can take some good photos, but if my wife uses the same camera, she doesn't seem to get them as sharp, or as detailed

From what I've seen, if the camera stays still while taking video, the results are great. But when the phone is panned around, you can see the low bitrate. When we get a higher bit rate, the video is going to look fantastic. Someone recorded a loud concert and said that the sound on the video wasn't distorted at all, which is very promising.

More great stills:

I'm happy with photo quality with the camera. Shot one video yesterday panned 360 degrees and the quality was acceptable over a 22 second period. wouldn't call it wonderful.

that would be an ecumenical matter

So, a few times my Desire has had a fit and I've need to yank the battery.
What happens when it happens to a phone with integral battery?

Hahaha I was thinking that also. I would say it will be the same as iPhone with a hard reset probably power and volume down etc.

I believe that was mentioned in the modaco review a few pages back, a long press of the power button should do the trick
