It seems that none of you have yet mentioned the real reason..

Somebody will no doubt have a hand warmer app that runs the whole 4 cores at 100% creating a really nice warm spot in your pocket. Of course you'll need to charge your phone every few hours, but that's only a minor side effect.

The thermal dissipation of 4 cores should be nigh identical to that of a single core CPU assuming the total wattage consumed is the same.





"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".
