dafman: Hi - is ICS being rolled out selectively to Vodafone users? When I connect my Vodafone S2 to Kies, it says I am running the latest firmware (Gingerbread), and the 'check for update' function on the phone' says 'no update available.'

Yet other Vodafone S2 users are currently able to upgrade ... ?

XWKG3 is still the latest official Vodafone NZ firmware. It's possible that other people you know are running custom or overseas ROMs, not anything that Vodafone have approved.

Don't worry if your phone hasn't updated yet, its not that much different from the usability and look. I have found the battery life has shortened and after reading around people say it takes a week to come right. I am totally draining the battery at present to get a full charge.

The Kies on the computer gave a message that the update was available. In another thread someone said that the rollout is based on region and that kies stores the region of your phone. I bought mine over the net so it's probably Asia or HongKong.
