Google are celebrating yet another milestone (25 billion downloads) with a '25' sale including 25c games over the next 5 days. The books and movies aren't much good in NZ, but at 25c can't complain about the rest!

How do you find which ones are on sale? I can't see anything on the play site.

Go into Play Store on your phone/tablet and tap the "Celebrating 25 billion downloads" pic

Plus it's obviously 25c in each country's currency. So the apps are NZ25c, rather than converted from US first (but I guess that would only make it a few cents dearer even if it were converted!)

This is cool, but so far the apps on sale I already either own or aren't particularly interesting to me :(

Kind of. In the past some of the apps are repeated in later days.

That's true. Always a bit of a downer but it'll do.

25 billion downloads, man! that's mind blowing.

Yeah I wasn't too fussed about what's on offer for 25cents but grabbed OfficeSuite6 just for giggles.

I wonder how the Banks feel about these 25cents sales? Processing millions of CC transactions for just a few cents over a couple of days.

My guess is they'll be happy. Just imagine how many people are buying something purely on the fact its 25cents that they would otherwise use the free version of e.g angry birds.
