Google are celebrating yet another milestone (25 billion downloads) with a '25' sale including 25c games over the next 5 days. The books and movies aren't much good in NZ, but at 25c can't complain about the rest! Areas of Geek interest: Home Theatre, HTPC, Android Tablets & Phones, iProducts.

Plus it's obviously 25c in each country's currency. So the apps are NZ25c, rather than converted from US first (but I guess that would only make it a few cents dearer even if it were converted!) 25 billion downloads, man! that's mind blowing. Yeah I wasn't too fussed about what's on offer for 25cents but grabbed OfficeSuite6 just for giggles. I wonder how the Banks feel about these 25cents sales? Processing millions of CC transactions for just a few cents over a couple of days.
