Expert Infotech Ltd has the Sony XPERIA S listed for $406.00 [27-NOV-2012 03:27]

This all seems a bit odd.

For $26.00 less, I could buy an old XPERIA Arc S

Anyway, I bought one of the XPERIA S for $406.00 as listed on my receipt.  :-)

So it should be interesting to see how that goes. I would assume the pricing is a mistake and should be more like $486.00
Wonder if that is the real price now. It's cheaper than a Sony XPERIA P and has more memory 32GB v 16GB, a 12MP camera, 720p screen and a bigger battery.

Maybe I've jumped too soon and the whole Sony(Ericsson) range at Expert Infotech is going to dramatically drop in price. :-)

Mum, I've bought you a new phone for Christmas. :-)

Hey dude.

I got a NZ new Sony Xperia S about 4-5months ago (from the sony store) and they are far better than the former ARC model.
You will note that DSE is now selling them for less than $600, so your paralell imported price makes sense given the current 'street pricing'.

I think I paid $750-$799 for mine which is less than the RRP on the sony site. (the guys instore tend to want to match as much as they can the 'other vendors').

I see the price has now returned to a more rational $464.00 for the Sony XPERIA S.

Still a good price at $464.00, but even better at $406.00 on today's mobile phone pricing scale.

So, maybe a few people got a good deal on a phone. :-)

Finger crossed aye.
