Hi, I'm using a Galaxy Note and am using the stock clock app to set my alarms. I triple check everything before I go to bed; the two alarms are on (green light) and they're on full volume, no mute! But it just didn't go off!
This is not the first time it's happened, but a few times now..
Anyone having similar problems or know a solution?
Thanks.

I think I can help since its happened to me.
I use the radio a lot on my phone, and sometimes instead of just turning it off I pull out my earphones, this can cause the radio to still be "on" and in this mode the phone will still want to play all sounds through the earphones even if they arent connected. I could even test the alarm and it would be silent in this mode.

You have to reconnect them, turn radio off properly, then take em off. The phone then knows to use speakers again. Anyway that was the issue for me. I test the alarm each night before I use it now ^^"

Yeah, I used to have your "radio" problem on my old phone. But I don't think that's the problem with my Note. Because when I test the alarm it works. It just doesn't ring at the specific time. And yes my time and date on the phone are correct. Also, I always click the "green" button twice in the clock section, then when I turn it back on, it says approx. (8 hours 32 minutes). So it does say it should go off then. But sometimes it doesn't!

maybe an alarm app from the play store? I use both doubletwist alarm and alarm clock extreme on a few of my android devices and both have been great. I think both have demos

Does the alarm fail to go off,nor does it just fail to make any noise? I.e. does it still flash the screen etc at the right time?

I've had a similar issue with various Android phones. The alarm never activates, it's like it wasn't set but it is set in the clock settings.

I've never been able to figure it out and because it's very rare, I've just dismissed the issue.

What I can be sure of is that if I set my alarm twice (open clock app, set time, save (see the confirmation of new time, close app, open, edit the alarm again but don't make changes to time and click save) then in my experience the alarm will always work. I always do the double save method when I know I need the alarm to go off and it always has worked.
