So im very used to using Apple products in particluar Ipad, but have made the move to a Nexus 7 as I perfer size for watching video etc in bed.

But where do you go to find advise and latest apps for Android. I know on Apple I used sites like Slide to Play and App Advise. Are there sides out there like that for Android.

Also what are the must have apps for Nexus 7 and whats best one for playing video files.

If the built-in video player doesn't support the video formats you need, you could try MX Player. From my limited use of it, it seems to work quite well.

Here's a reasonable start:

Lots of sites have app recommendations - here are a few:
Androidcentral (Apps of the Week segment)
Droidgamers (best Android gaming site I've found)

For video I use Dice Player and MX Player, some files work better on one or the other and both are excellent in their own right.
