What are the Android offerings of the various NZ banks like?

I was with National Bank, now ANZ,so am considering changing.

Just downloaded the Android ANZ app for my phone, and the iOS app for my ipad.
The iPad version supports logging in with just a PIN, but the Android app makes me enter the full username and password each time, which is a pain.

What are the Android offerings from other banks like? May be enough to make me switch!

Thanks
Peter

ASB...

(not just that I'm with them, but that their app is pretty, functional, friendly, and just seems to have everything 'right')

Im with ANZ and just this last week i pondered this exact question.. I quite like the look of the Westpac app, as well as the cash tank app. That mixed with the mobile wallet trials they are doing have me seriously considering a change.

ASBs doesn't work unless you register for some other service (netkey or something) I have found. The ANZ one is good, but it's iphone one is better. TSB has a good one on the iphone but no android app.

Am no with ASB but have used both the Kiwibank and West apps and out of the two I like Kiwibank one the best.

The iPhone kiwibank app is the best banking app. So I imagine the android version would be good also! Supports pin login, and the quality of the app is as good as I've seen in any app. (Kiwibank is the way to go anyway, stay away from those Aussie banks)

I agree with the ASB app, I haven't used any others, but the ASB one has had a huge overhaul making it one of the most used apps on my phone.

You don't need to log in to check your balance, you can log in with a 5 digit pin, you can view all your account, loan and Kiwi Saver balances. Transferring between accounts is simple as well as paying your bills or one time payees.

Only problem I have with it is the fact it logs you out every time your screen turns off, which can be a pain when you have it set to turn off quite quickly like on my S3, though that's just a security feature.

I don't know. But I can't access my accounts with it as I don't have a regualr transaction account. Just a fastsaver & cash management accounts and none are accessible via the asb app for me. It says I need some netcode which I haven't been able to setup. When I enquired some time ago I recall being told there was an additional cost or something, so didn't investigate further. The other banks make it a lot easier to set these things up, as I have got all the other banks apps working, as I have accounts with most banks in NZ.
