now that australia has got tv show downloads in iTunes:

http://www.itwire.com/content/view/18983/1151/

how long do you think it will be until new zealand gets tv show downloads?

and regarding this, should the country's?tv networks?be worried about this? like in new zealand, tvnz has the rights to screen usa show desperate housewives, so if iTunes sold this in the new zealand store, when people buy it, does tvnz get some of the profits or does tvnz get nothing?

anyway, when tv shows come to new zealand i will only watch tv for live sports. i'll be downloading shows like desperate housewives because the advantage is i can watch it advertisement free and watch it again whenever i want which you can't do on tv.

I have heard rumors recently of it being very close - but then again IMTS itself was very close for a couple of years!

It will be very interesting indeed..

They'll want local content aswell, such as Outrageous Fortune etc...As you can see with the Ozy store.

Don't think I could care any less about TV Shows on iTunes - but bring on the movies I say!  Then the new AppleTV software will shine!
