Four men and eleven sheep joy riding in a hatchback at 1am... there must be a real woman shortage up there.

How do you even get eleven sheep into a hatchback, let alone with four people?! Very cruel to the animals.

Naw it's theft pure and simple.  Meat is expensive, so people steal the animals and butcher them.

The worst part is that the farmers can do very little about it. People who do this are nothing but scumbags.

The Bay of Plenty, The Hawke's Bay.

that would be "The Hawke Bay".  The actual bay is called Hawke Bay.  The region is Hawke's Bay :)

Well in that case it would definitely be "The Hawke's Bay" as the perpetrators were in the region, not in the ocean.
