Ah. OK. I got a new hdi recently and my nicknames had been reset to the smartcard numbers. I have updated the nicknames on the website. Will give it a bit of time to see if it filters down the sky app...

I have 4 HDi boxes and the nicknames I assigned are all showing on my iPad app. I take your point though that you need to assign them through the web first.

It appears that this feature doesn't work on the android version. My nicknames are not pushed to the app. I just have mysky and myskyhdihighdefinition as the two recording devices. Anyone with the android version managed to rename their devices?

I named mine ages ago on their website.

When i book a program on the android it give the the choice where to record to.

Works ok here but you need to go to the Settings page, logout then login again, this causes the smartcard nicknames to be re-read
