Hi there

Down here in snowy Christchurch and no Sky signal which is understandable. Just wondering how widespread this is and if anyone further down south is having problems? Hopefully not and clear skies are on their way. Also out of interest I had a look in the Signal Tester. All 4 Tuners are showing unlocked and the strength is <41dBuV. Also the quality is showing as 0.0dB. I tend to associate dB with loss hence 0dB would be fantastic although I guess you can't have loss on a signal if you haven't got a signal

Sky went down here in Wanganui around 6.10pm. Had to reboot the decoder to get it back. Friends had the same problem, so it wasn't just my decoder.

Have you cleared the snow off your dish?

Have re-booted 3 times throughout the day but to no avail. Just landed me in hot water with er indoors as I always forget that if you re-boot and can't get a signal you can no longer access recorded shows on Mysky

Not yet, might have to give it a go, really don't feel like getting the ladder out and messing around at this point. You don't happen to know any easy way to do this without causing damage

+1
Go and chuck some warm water over it.

As above, have a go with the garden hose if you can.

They are fixed fairly firmly, to resist wind etc, so should be fine if you give a gentle brush with a broom. But yeah, getting on the roof at night in the snow isnt the best
