After years of converting to Widescreen and now that CNN and Russia TV have recently gone Widescreen, according to what I've just checked, there are now only 3 remaining Channels on Sky that need to convert to Widescreen...

044 - Nick Jr.
112 - Daystar
310 - CCTV News

Obviously this relies on the Feeds Sky are getting and the source programming.

If it's taken this long just get to widescreen, how much longer till they start rolling out more HD channels!?

Although IIRC it's a capacity issue right?

I think you forgot those music channels that have some widescreen and annoyingly intermix it with 4:3 content... It's plain to see that they don't care.

I guess no one is watching though... So if a widescreen tree falls in the forest and no one is there to see it, did it fall at all!

don't mess with me.... i'm the hd insider....

It will be interesting to see if Triangle / Face have sorted out their aspect ratio now that they have moved to the darkside.

Face is great on UHF, pushing out a 16:9 feed most of the time. TVNZ and mediaworks could learn from that for the dying days of analog...

Music is a problem on juice and the other one they run, whereas the MTV's seem to have their aspect ratios sorted out.

C4 is terrible at having music vids not reaching the edges of the screen.
