iPad 4:3 ratio causes problem airplay mirroring to Apple TV causing image to be small on the tv. Using iphone instead in mirroring fills the entire tv screen. Nice.

With the device limit,

I looked under manage devices, and it showed as chrome and numbers after it.

Looks like every browser counts as different device, also wondering if browser updates to later version will it count as different device again.

I have more then two devices in house that would like to watch on, pretty sucky DRM.

Before ok to watch any device, but only one device at time, now the people that provide them with content limit to only two registered devices.

TVNZ on demand is not even that restrictive. Because of this I'm calling it a fail.

I have registered with a iTunes US account - to support Netflix, Hulu, iTunes movies etc. in the iTunes US App Store I cannot find this app. Any ideas how I can download Sky Go without changing my account back to NZ?

Just have two separate accounts, one for Nz and one for USA. Then you can switch between them easily.

I have been trying to get this to run on iPad 3. When I first downloaded it yesterday, the first programme I tried ran fine. Then I got "A stream concurrency error has occurred" message and now nothing will run - every channel gives same message. Anyone able to tell me what this means and whether there is a fix. Anyone else had this, apart from Jarle?

I googled and found that many in the UK had a similar problem when their version of Sky Go was released earlier this year. I found some instructions involving deleting the app, clearing Safari settings, rebooting iPad with wifi off and in Airplane mode, renewing wifi lease, reinstalling app, etc etc but nothing has made a blind bit of difference.

I get the feeling from Google that this might be a problem with the app specific to iPad 3. Edit: But I see Jarle has iPad Air.

Very frustrating.

Edit: Just tried something more obvious. Deleted iPad in Manage Devices settings. Then the first programme ran fine but now back to all channels with error message, as before. Tried to delete iPad again and was told "the deregistration limit has been reached for this account". WTF.

I got concurrency limit yesterday.

1. Tried to run in chrome. I kept getting "This content is not available"
2. Ran it on the same laptop in Intenet Explorer. It worked fine for 15 min.
3. Out of nowhere I got "concurrency limit reached"
4. That was it. Back to conent not available.

Frustrating.

My problem reported above is when trying to stream using wifi at home. I tried turning wifi off and turning on mobile data and it seems to be running fine on all channels. Go back to wifi and same old.

This is interesting but is not a fix for me. I would seldom want to use my SIM card for this app - it's something I would want to use via wifi.

Does this wifi v data info suggest any causes or solutions to anyone?

If you are running a service like UnBlock-Us on your router when trying to access the Sky Go app, you will have to manually enter the correct DNS into the iDevice so that it appears to be in NZ, otherwise the content will not play.

Thanks. I am running UblockUS. Did try turning it off and that made no difference. Did not think of your idea - will give it a go.

The issue with channel only or packages will be with price I would imagine. A lot of people will think that the price for individual packages is too high compared to price for total subscription. But is it?

Yes with total subscription you get a choice but the viewer still only watches a small percentage of what is available at any given time and actually may still only watch the same amount as if they had a package thus if you have channel only, package only prices they won't be much different.

The issue they will have with streaming is the poor quality of NZ internet, the constant complaining of those customers to quality and speed and the cost to maintain the streaming, apps etc for what is a small percenatge of their customer base.

Not seen anyone else reply but works fine for people on TCL/Voda (someone posted they thought it would not). My sky account was linked way back entered same details and working beautifully on ipad mini. Also working great with Airplay so yay for cricket outside in the sun.
