Hi guys,

What areas has this been known to work in?  (the half price/free install/free magazine deal)

I'm in Palmerston North and could take them up on this if it works here.

I can always ring and try of course but thought I'd ask first.

It was a mailbox flyer wasn't it?  Have people being saying that when they call?

Cheers.

I guess they dont care which area you are calling from. Just call and say that you have got a special promotional offer and give the code.

Cheers

Thanks guys.

Hey quick check:

Do any of the sky (standard, not mysky) boxes do hdmi output?

If they don't, do they do component video or svideo output?

Jlee: I'm thinking of installing sky too. Can you please tell me what is the promotional code for 12 months half price?

code 6800 will give you free installation and 12 months of sky's basic package including skywatch for $26.35 a month

Thanks a ton ->> VEXXXBOY

The code works and I got a very good deal.

Cheers

Does this let you upgrade to Myski and the HD ticket add on?

Also having these 2 extras basically doubles the cost - crazyness.

Wow. I should cancel my Sky and resign.
It would be worth it having no TV for a week or two.,

I just upgraded to MySky HD, with free install, 6 months free ($15p/m) and free HD ticket because I have multiroom, for as long as I have multiroom.

Apparently there is some 'list' with certain subscribers that they are targetting for the upgrade. They rang a few weeks ago to offer some sort of deal but my wife said 'no' without taking much notice of what it was. I rang them up and asked if it was a MySky deal that was offered, and Customer Services said they'd send a message to Promotions who would check to see if we were on 'their list'. A day later they called and confirmed that we were on the 'list'. I didn't have multi-room before, but they installed it free for 3 months too (with the HD ticket). So free install, free for 6 months, free 3 months or multiroom and HD ticket. All up, if I decide to cancel after 12 months (the min term) then I'll have shelled out a grand total of $90 (excluding the Basic Package + Sport of course that we've been paying anyway). Too good to turn down.
Presumably they're banking on enough people falling love with multi-room and HD to make it worth their while.

I was going to do the Harvey Norman deal if we weren't on the 'list'.

Just signed up for the half price deal (via telemarketer). Half price for the basic, mysky and hd ticket plus free install. Sport was full price and it's going up $7 next month ! Still better than full price though.

Be aware they say there is a 3 month stand down period if you cancel your subscription.

Hi there

Got a flier in the mail just yesterday with the 6800 code on it, just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting Mysky HDI with this deal? I rang up and ask about it and was told that, you couldn't get MySky HDI with this deal??

Thanks
