Hi, I am hoping someone can help me out. I have purchased secondhand a Telecom R6 from someone who has since moved overseas. My problem is that the Handset is locked and sadly the previous owner changed the Handset Code from the standard '1234' code. I was given a possible code to use by the parent of the previous owner, but murphys law, it does not work.
Is there any way that I can bypass this or have it corrected so I can use the phone?
Unless you can prove you legitimately own the handset I doubt they will unlock it for you. Tthe whole point of the pin locking is to stop people stealing the handset.
Yes I have tried the standard codes of 12345 and 00000 but neither have worked.
I do have a receipt from the previous owner, but it is only handwritten, dated and signed by her. Sadly since I purchased it secondhand there is nothing 'official' from the company who normally supply them.
I'm guessing now, that I have just wasted my money on a phone that will never unlock...correct? :o/
