Hi. I'm looking for information or a solution where people can send photos from a mobile, to another mobile number, and the image received as an email.

The scenario is a person takes a photo using their mobile, sends to a mobile number, and photo is received into an email mailbox. Needs to support Telecom, Voda, and 2Degrees networks. I hear that Telecom and 2Degrees only support sending pictures to email, not MMS to another mobile number. Is that correct or does that only apply to pictures being sent out of their networks?

Thanks for your help.

You seem to want the image rceived as an email, so the first phone would have to send it as email, not mms it to the phone. A lot of phones support this.

Thanks. Yeah - i get the feeling that using MMS/PXT for sending photos isn't as necessary as it used to be. But, would sending a photo from a mobile phone to an email address would require a data plan?

Casual would be fine for occasional emailing of pictures, most providers(perhaps all of them) provide 10MB for $1 on the days you use it. They charge more if you use more than that 10 MB though at a larger rate(which I don't really understand why except for the obvious fact no-one is calling them on their overcharging).

Depending on the size of the photos, you could email quite a few of them for that $1.
