Hope this is the right forum for asking this type of question.

Just wondering if there is a way to dock your mobile phone with a stereo system, to play your music on your mobile through the speakers on the stereo system.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming it has a 3.5mm headphone socket, then that would be the easiest way with a $2 cable to a pair of RCA's to plug into the stereo.

Some have USB ports on them and will scan the phone for files that they can play, like it was a flash drive.

Some have bluetooth addons or you can get standalone bluetooth audio receivers that will pair with the phone and output stereo audio

Oh cool bananas.

She has a headphone port and USB on her phone.  So now I know what to look for in a stereo system for her room now.
