Microsoft has just announced a Windows Live SkyDrive client for Windows and Mac. Very handy, it shows in the Explorer windows, Libraries, etc.

Also they are changing SkyDrive to 7GB free, and charged after that.

Existing accounts can continue to have a free 25GB upgrade *NOW* if you login to your Windows Live SkyDrive account and click the Upgrade button. This will give you 25GB forever, free.

Just FYI, the "upgrade" to 25GB is only available if you have previously stored something in your current SkyDrive.

Thanks for the info - going on holiday soon and would have probably blown the 7GB with video and photo backup.

Awesome :)

"Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes."

Anybody else getting this? (on a very ugly page which seems to be missing all CSS)

EDIT: NVM, was just firewall\proxy at work.

Thanks for the tip; now rocking with 25GB :)

Conversely, there is no Google Drive app for Windows Phone.

So, your point is?
