Has anybody else had experience with box.com?

On Saturday night I decided to upload my entire music folder to box.com to take advantage of the free 50gb I got free from owning an Xperia phone.

It was 40gb all up and as I have pretty average ADSL2 speeds it only recently finished but to my dismay only a little under 800mb actually uploaded.

I can't work out any logical reason why this would happen, where did my other 39gb go?

This is the first time I have used a cloud server so I'm unsure whether it is something I've done.

According to my ISP (snap) I have used 20gb of bandwidth which is half of what I supposedly uploaded but more than 20 times what was actually there. For the record I usually use about 20-30gb in a month and it only rolled over on the weekend.

I have had no problem uploading files, mind you i was fortunate enough to receive their box sync software which is a much more friendlier way of uploading compared to their web based option

Yes well I've worked out it doesn't seem to like too many folders, or maybe it was because I closed the main page I don't know. I think I'll just upload a few folders at a time now and I might give the sync software a try and see how that goes. Thanks for the reply.

Get the app for sure.  Web browsers/servers are simply not designed for large uploads.
