Ok, so I've got my TiVo, I've got the HNP installed (though I've yet to reboot the TiVo and hadn't tested it out yet)... I want the content that's on the TiVo to be playable in the lounge on the Sony CX50-32 which has a DLNA client in it. So, what bits and processes do I need to get the content to show up there? I've got two machines running windows streaming server which the TV will pick up audio content from just fine. But what format do I need the TiVo content in and how do I get it in to that format? I also had a bit of a look on the TiVo web site and don't totally understand what bits I need.... I've got HN, but do I need the Plus version to do what I want? So, along with the technical issues, I'm also wanting to understand the budget. I'm trying to be a bit green about this, I've got space on the computers to store some content, but if all the extra bits are going to be that expensive, am I better off just getting two TiVo's (though some might call that a bit greedy as well given that they seem to becoming rear). I can't answer any of your questions except to say that we get the plus version of TiVo Desktop here in NZ/Au

I've been looking at QuickFlix tonight after I noticed my TV has a client built in for that as well. I'm starting to see why this whole VoD space isn't moving and people just pirate media. It seems to me that every vendor has just a little fraction of what you might want and that doesn't represent value. QuickFlix for example, had 1 video out of the whole collection that might be of interest to my son. That's not a reason to spend $17 or the time to figure out how to set it up. It's a reason to find out more about how to just pirate more content. I grew up with content producers, so I understand more about content rights and respect it far more than many might. But seriously... Promote New Zealand - Get yourself a .kiwi.nz domain name!!! Check out mine - i.am.a.can.do.kiwi.nz

D I think it is a lot easier just to get another tivo, and stream/download to it, which you can do with the HNP.

Hi Don, You do have the plus key - should be hiding on your account page somewhere, if it isn't PM me. HNP isn't really my forte, play with the desktop client, or some of the other software people here have suggested in other threads. I do know HNP has some transcoding abilities for iPad et al Dan
