Here in papamoa not sure for how long but was definitley 5.30pm yesterday to 4.30pm today we had audio delay of approx 6 seconds on Prime/Trackside/Choice/Firstlight and Central.  This was on Freeview inbuilt TV, Freeview Cert uhf receiver and a Strong non certified.

BUT on my Tivo the sound was in sync still.  Took it about 30 seconds to lock in and was gray screen until then. But when it did it was all in sync.  When watching TV through tivo and in lounge on the freeview TV you notice around 20 second delay on Tivo.

Does this mean the Tivo has some trick circuitry that analyzes the incoming signal and can correct timing issues since it was fine while the others were out.

Sorry for longish post and hope you understand.

That's very cool. Something to do with the video/audio interleaving that Kordia are using? I wonder if that TiVo 'feature' could be at all related to the loss of audio on the occasional recording.
