I am in the wellingotn region and noticed tonight that my two tivos were missing the EPG guides for all non tvnz channels. The fact that both are missing them could possibly indicate a problem at tivos end.The EPG for TVNZ 1 plus is also 2 hours infront, and I noticed other people have noticed this problem too. Neither of these problems are ontheir status page. Anyone else having problems with the PEG. I am concerned that these epg problems (at least teh tvnz 1+ one) could be the beginning of the end for tivo in NZ since they no longer seem to be sold here and the NZ tivo website has been downgraded.

Hi Matt,

The TVNZ+1 issue I believe was sorted and should have filtered through today. If it hasn't let me know and I'll double check with our EPG people in the morning.

We have just been informed Mediaworks is in the process of doing some work/upgrades on their system (TV3, TV3+1, Four, C4)

At this point, we are not exactly sure what has changed to break the link between the channels and the EPG data, but we hope to have it resolved shortly.

I'm having the same issues in Feilding. None of the MediaWorks channels are showing up in the EPG, causing all the respective scheduled recordings to fail. Prior to finding this thread I'd tried restarting the box, rescanned the channels, even restarted my router... Now I guess it's just a waiting game.

That does indeed appear to be the reason.

I also believe we have the fix available.
However I must apologize now, the needed updates won't flow through to your TiVo's until their first call in on Saturday.

I'll be riding this tomorrow to make sure it all goes through ok.

I only noticed this last night and did a reboot. I have probably missed some recodings from it. Oh well, good to know that it is being rectified.

HI Guys,

Apologies, but it appears we may have hit a technical snag or two with getting this fixed for the weekend.
I will keep you up to date with an ETA as soon as I know.

I've had news that we have been able to overcome our technical snags.
So unless we have further issues, we should be back to our original plan of good to go from tomorrow's call in.

Yes and I'm one more who's been.... well I'm bald now.
I hope this problem is solved before Tivo experiences an unnatural act!
Now I know it isn't me, but it appears the problem isn't affecting the Satelite EPG.

This has been caused by a change in the ID's of the channels in the stream.
Your TiVo looks for the ID in the meta data of the digital stream to connect to the EPG data, with the ID's changing it was unable to make the connection.

The updated EPG and ID's will be going out in tonight's run.

I could probably bore you all with the gory technical details, but it's Friday night, aren't you all meant to be drinking a beer and watching Aussie rules footy ;)

We might be watching the Aussie rules, but without the EPG how do we know which channel it's on?

So I think you best just give us the gory details before you head off for the night Dan.
