A few months ago I got around to wiring a few Cat6 cables around my house to get content from PC's to the TiVo and WDTV without having to rely on Wireless.
My TiVo came with the Wireless G Adapter and I was wondering if there was anything I can do with it now that its of no use?
Some sort of hack that can turn it into a wireless hotspot or something awesome.

I know I'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but I don't want to feel like I'm squandering a resource by throwing it away.

So Geekzone, am I dreaming or does this little package of plastic and brushed steel have some potential?

I would be interested too, as I have got one too. they are only G though, but I would have thought it could work like a regualar G wifi connector with the right drivers. Have you tried connecting it to a PC to see if it was detected?

Given the cheapness of Wireless-N USB dongles that PCs will support, is it really worth wasting time and energy on something that will ultimately only give wireless-G performance?
