I set a season pass for TV# news and Campbell Live every night.
For some reason it insists on recording two lots of news midday and 6PM and two lots of Campbell 6:30 in morning and 7PM at night.
Have told the season pass to only record first run but doesnt make any difference.
Drives me crazy having four items to delete each day instead of two
Any one with any ideas on how to make this preform correctly

Leave it to auto delete?
Or maybe set a manual record time?

I get the same thing with 'the wiggles' on kidzone, 3 times a day and it records all of em

Unfortunately I have the 1TB extender and have a lot of stuff stored on the Tivo Drive. If I left it to auto delete I would have a lot of stuff messing up the programmes to watch. It doesn't help that Tivo every now and then when you delete a programme it sends the active line down to bottom of list where deleted items lives. Takes forever to work way back up through the list to get to latest recordings. I know I should watch more recorded stuff but the time watching eats into my other activities

I think it's because the EPG does not differentiate between the live 7pm show and the re-run.
I have mine set to only keep one episode, same as 3 News. This means it records the midday shows but then replaces them with the evening shows. I could not find a way to get it to NOT record the early shows.

Perhaps we should ask TV3 to improve the EPG data?

Cheers,
Joseph

You can use the Channel Up/Down button on the remote to do a page up/page down, or use the skip to end button ->|  to jump to the bottom of the list, then press it again to jump to the top.

As jofizz said, just set tivo to only keep one episode of the news and it will delete the extra recordings when it finishes the 6pm one.

Also, when looking at the Now Playing list, press the [enter] button, bottom right. This will allow you to sort them into groups by title, which may make it easier to navigate.

I had the same issue ... in the end I just set them up to record as a manual recording, set to repeat everyday. Not so great if programs are shifting around, but the news and campbell live are always on at the same time. :)
