I have had my TiVo just on a week now and all was working ok, apart from everyday I would get the "line up error has occurred" for the channels. Not too much of a hassle, as I read on here that a fix is in the works.  The problem now is, when I rescan the channels, I only get 10 as opposed to the 20 I was receiving before.  I am running my TiVo from a Digitech Indoor amplified aerial, which I have unplugged and replugged in (power connection) but I don't think that's the problem as I am still able to get 10 channels. I have also restarted the TiVo and done a rescan but still only 10 channels.

UHF for me comes from Mt Cargill in Dunedin if that is of any use, or if anyone else in Dunedin is having the same problem.

There has been a previous thread regarding this problem, from memory you need to contact tivo and will arrange for an update to be sent to your tivo to fix the problem

Got a link to the thread by any chance? :) I have searched but can't find too many. I know about the line up error, which is in a beta phase and should be resolved end of this month, but can't find anything about missing lots of channels

Ok, working now. I thought I would plug the amplified indoor aerial direct into the TV's built in Freeview Tuner. The channels still came up missing. So I took the aerial off the wall and shifted it to the top of a cabinet and all channels are back, both in the TV and the TiVo.  Don't know why the aerial which was working fine in its previous location, suddenly decided to stop receiving 10 channels

There was a frequency change last month. My parents' TV (in Palmerston) used to get only the Kordia mux, but after the frequency change receives no digital channels (they use analog). I'd say it's the same for you, the new frequencies resulted in slightly lower signal levels.

They have just bought a TiVoHD, so it will be interesting to see if the tuner(s) is more sensitive than the TV and can receive any channels. I expecting to have to put a really high gain antenna up. There is already another thread implying that is the case.
