Well we are the odd man out here ...we turned down the offer of TiVO and took and another free calling mobile number (from our home phone) ....
So the deal was $95 discount per month for  2 months and two mobile free call numbers .
We did not have broadband at the time so this was negotiated in reference to the $75 deal the other crowd were offering.

Forgot to post, but Bond/NL had a 3 year warranty on the remaining units for something like $30, seemed a reasonable deal considering the failure rate so picked that up before it ended yesterday

I'm an existing customer and tried asking for one a couple of weeks ago but was told it was only for new customers.

Bond and Bond have the 320GB Tivo in their mailer for $222 and state "limited stock, limit 1 per customer", valid until Tuesday 29th May 2012 or while stocks last.

I doubt it will be free, or $200. I think the newer one just has a bigger harddrive.

I think they will be closer to the $500 mark, which is what competing devices sell/rent out for.

Just to add my bit to this thread

I rang Telecom and was able to still get the free Tivo and a $10per month discount for 12months and i was not a new customer but i was new to Total Home BB plan (was still using the Pro Plan with 60gb)

I was put through to Home Solutions team and they were great to deal with and i have my new Tivo on the way.

Anyone that is still thinking about changing and wanting a Tivo then it seems the options are still there.
