They dont have to be good quality but if its done on a phone it still needs to be manually uploaded it really needs to be automatic, its so they can identify returned parts to make sure they were theirs and not a customer sending back their own to try and get a credit... happens allot apparently, i suggested maybe using a UV Pen and just having a UV light in their dispatch 


i'm sure that someone could "knock up an app" for an iphone/android/windowsphone reasonably easily that would achieve what you're trying to achieve.  that is, assuming one doesnt already exist.

android, a google+ account, allow instant upload, and all the photos will automagically go to a picasa web album.

Android running dropbox will do the same...
