Hi there i am just wondering if i can access a webcam that is on a different PC but on the same network.

Just a cheap security system until i can purchase a proper one with a DVR etc

Call it with skype? That sorts out people on the same lan to go direct when I last tried it.

I use the free version of this http://vitamindinc.com/ on my laptop at home. Emails me whenever it detects motion with a picture of whatever it was....mostly the cat.
