My camera updated fine via Win7 Professional 64-bit as the host.

No issues.

Update: The main benefit of this version is an improved ability to play / view 3D files from other sources. If I understand this properly it means you can use the Real 3D W3 camera as a player for 3D (and probably 2D) movies and other content.
