Scam. You are probably going to hand out the keys to your account to a rogue application.

If it was real it wouldn't be hosted on Amazon AWS, but would be an app inside Facebook itself (to start). Then there's the "if it's too good to be true..."

Not to mention, why on earth would you want $100 of greasy food from there? If you could even call it food.

+1 One reason I avoid facebook. It has become so complex and spammy these days. Not a nice environment to use.

Do they have the resources? It is a bit like spammers/scammers using googles gmail servers and services. IMHO I don't think these services should exist if they don't have the resources to police them, but then they wouldn't exist in their free form.

There was a Dick Smith link doing the round before Xmas promising a $200 gift voucher. Last time I looked there were in excess of 600 + NZers who had replied "thank you" to the promo clearly expecting a voucher.

Darwin was a smart man..

Two tips to avoid this stuff

1. Like "Facecrooks" on facebook as they give early warnings about these scams
2. Install Web Of Trust for your browser. The community flags these types of links fairly early and you will see a red icon next to the link + trying to go there will pop up a warning page so you can avoid it.
