Topic # 115046 12-Mar-2013 09:42 Send private message

Just wondering if anyone has installed Linux Mint on their Samsung Series 3 Chromebook?

I installed Chrubuntu but I don't like Ubuntu and want Linux Mint.  Problem is I'm a noob at Linux and not sure how to go about it.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the series 3 the ARMv7 CPU version of chromebook?

You need a distribution that supports your CPU or you'll never be able to boot - armv7 / armhf support is in debian, ubuntu, arch linux and some others too I think. Not sure about Linux Mint.
