ChrisNZL: Source? Officials from Chorus and Snap customer service. From 1st April 2013 Chorus will accept requests for UFB services from ISPs wanting to provide services in BOF subdivisions. Hope it's true :) Me too :)

Why would you need to dump Xnet? UFB will obviously see these subvisions move to the UFB wholesale pricing rather than the BoF pricing which differs significantly due to the different product offersings. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

I do apologise, but I don't find either of those two options very appealing.. There are no contracts on the new WxC plan, you'll only pay the $199 installation fee and then no disconnection fee, don't know if the new provider would charge you a churn fee afterwards though.
