I was just perusing the skinny website and see add-on minutes and texts, not just additional data. This must be new. I can see that for a shrewd customer there's some value to be had.

Talk 80 for $4
Text 250 for $1
Data 40 for $1
Data 200 for $4
Data 600 for $8

You can have multiple add-ons as well.  Now that's Living Skinny.
