What about just a text only plan, I dont need minutes or data and im a student/ the demographic I thought this brand was made for and im not changing from XT with my current text plan of 5000 txts $12 per month. Even though my plan isnt obtainable now it would be good to see something close to it for everyone to be able to use.

I can tell you if you can beat XT on price and amount of texts offered on a plan you will gain a large amount of people in my demographic because we ofcourse want the cheapest and most texts available :)

Just my 2c anyways :D

You realise that plan is closing off within a month or two right? I don't need such a huge number of TXTs so am not aware of 2D and Vodafone's current MASSIVE txt offerings though.

I like how you can break off the bit where the sim was and you can put the bit with your mobile number and PUK in your wallet, very handy.

Even though you could do this with the other ones potentially, this just makes it easier.

I should have asked for a micro-SIM instead, I will find a use for it regardless.

Meh, I could do but I'd probably cut it wrong and break it (also I'm on a contract and it has nowhere near enough data for me). Here is the pics I took of many NZ sims.

Can someone try it on an iPhone (changing APN in both my methods I have noted on my website) and see if they work. Also the "   *888#   " menus.  I asked for a Micro SIm (emailed skinny) and haven't got one yet :-(

@LennonNZ I don't see any reason why it would not work.

Probably people already know, but here is shorter USSD to check balances

*888*2*1# - voice
*888*2*2# - txt
*888*2*3# - data

Ordered a Micro-SIM. Judging by others' delivery speeds mine should arrive Monday.
